Likely to be a group of no more than 8 people

 

A superb opportunity to be guided around the Glyderau witnessing the Sunset from this beautiful viewing point.  Aiming to be at Glyder Fach at 994m for the Sunrise

We will take in Devils Kitchen, Glyder Fawr & Castell y Gwynt on route to Glyder Fach where we will stop to take in the event

We will then proceed to the renowned Cantilever Stone for a photo opportunity and then weather dependant chose a route down likely to be around 1hr – 1hr30 back into Ogwen

Id expect this event to last between 3 & 5 hours depending on the speed of the group and the weather and how much we chat.

Kit Required

Full Mountain Kit to be carried, full water proofs, hat, gloves, food and drink and a good quality head torch is a necessity.

FAQ - Event Info

Parking

There is lots of parking along the A5 in the valley, but please allow some walking time if very busy as you may be parked further away then usual, there is a car park at the cottage that costs £6 but this fills up quick

 

Toilets

There are public toilets at the Starting Point

Refreshments

There is a Cafe at the starting point where you can get food and drink after the event

Fitness Level Required

The Event will not be fast at all, very social and steady hiking with lots of regrouping however we are summiting peaks around 1000m across some steep and uneven ground so a basic level of fitness is required, if you want to discuss this please feel free to drop me a line.

Can Dogs come along?

Whilst I totally get the joy of bringing the dogs along to the mountains, dog lover myself I need everyone to be totally focused on the event and I don’t want to be responsible for anything that may happen to someone’s beloved pet.

Can I bring my Kids

All my guided hikes are currently for 18+ only sorry unless on a bespoke guided day where this option may be available.
